Granite Exporter Of Essentials + Exotics
Ivory Brown granite is a yellowish-grey granulite of the Precambrian period with reddish bands and clouds. This stone internationally may be nominated as a granite but in the area of application of the European Standard this stone must be nominated as a granulite. The veining and colour varies considerably and a small sample of Ivory Brown granite may not be representative of the whole slab therefore swatch samples must be approved for large projects to ensure that the blocks are all extracted from the same quarry face for matching purposes. During the polishing process a clear epoxy resin filler may be used to fill any micro fissures or tiny pitting however this does not affect the integrity of the stone, it merely provides an even smoother surface finish. Ivory Brown Granite is suitable for both interior and exterior use futhermore is frost resistant and with a constant polish.
Suitable for construction projects both commercial and domestic, prefabricated countertops/worktops, vanities, tiles, backsplashes, paving, fireplaces and memorials.
Ivory Brown Granite looks best with a gloss polished surface but is also available as honed, leather/satin, river-washed/antique, thermal/flamed, flamed & brushed, water-jet, bush-hammered, sandblast and sawn finish.
Test with a small sample. It is probable that a sealant can be used on Ivory Brown Granite however excessive attempts at sealing it could actually create a residue film build-up.

Ivory Brown granite is quarried near Tiruttangal, Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu, India. The colour and veining variation of this granite is very wide. There are several quarries of Ivory Brown granite.
Ivory Brown granite slabs are available in standard 20mm and 30mm thickness for random slabs, cut-to-size (dimensioned) and prefabricated to the customer's specifications, 40mm thick are produced but are not usually held in stock for immediate despatch.

A class of high grade metamorphic rocks of the granulite-facies that have experienced high-temperature and moderate pressure metamorphism. They are medium to coarse-grained and mainly composed of feldspars sometimes associated with quartz and anhydrous ferromagnesian minerals, with granoblastic texture and gneissose to massive structure.
The granulites are very closely allied to the gneisses, as they consist of nearly the same minerals, but they are finer-grained, have usually less perfect foliation, are more frequently garnetiferous, and have some special features of microscopic structure.
These are quarries yielding several, selectable, grades of granite with blocks suitable for gangsaw size down to economical tile-sized and monument blocks. Extraction commenced in the mid 1980s. For commercial projects it is important to ensure that blocks are selected from the same quarry face.
Rough blocks are usually exported by Break Bulk however intermodal containerisation is available at extra cost. Finished products are packed into sea-worthy wooden crates and loaded into containers.
