Granite Exporter Of Essentials + Exotics
Imperial Rose granite is a light pink migmatite of the Precambrian period. This stone internationally may be nominated as a granite however in the area of application of the European Standard this stone must be nominated as a migmatite. The veining and colour varies considerably and a small sample of Imperial Rose granite may not be representative of the whole slab therefore swatch samples must be approved for large projects to ensure that the blocks are all extracted from the same quarry face for matching purposes. During the polishing process a clear epoxy resin filler may be used to fill any micro fissures or tiny pitting however this does not affect the integrity of the stone, it merely provides an even smoother surface finish. Imperial Rose Granite is suitable for both interior and exterior use futhermore is frost resistant and with a constant polish.
Suitable for construction projects both commercial and domestic, prefabricated countertops/worktops, vanities, tiles, backsplashes, paving, fireplaces and memorials.
Imperial Rose Granite looks best with a gloss polished surface but is also available as honed, leather/satin, river-washed/antique, thermal/flamed, flamed & brushed, water-jet, bush-hammered, sandblast and sawn finish.
Test with a small sample. It is possible that a sealant can be used on Imperial Rose Granite and excessive attempts at sealing it could actually create a residue film build-up.
Imperial Rose granite is quarried near Salem, East Ghats, Tamil Nadu, West and East Ghats, India.
Imperial Rose Granite slabs are available in standard 20mm and 30mm thickness for random slabs, cut-to-size (dimensioned) and prefabricated to the customer's specifications, 40mm thick are produced but are not usually held in stock for immediate despatch.

Imperial Rose Granite Premium & Commercial quality calibrated, bevelled & grooved matching granite tiles.
Standard Tile Sizes
305 x 305 x 10 mm (12" x 12" x 3/8")
610 x 305 x 10 mm (24" x 12" x 3/8")
400 x 400 x 10 mm (15 3/4" x 15 3/4" x 3/8")
457 x 457 x 10/12 mm (18" x 18" x 3/8~1/2")
610 x 610 x 15/18 mm (24" x 24" x 6/10~7/10")
Furthermore 305/400/457/610 mm x Freelength, normally up to 2000mm (78.75") for you to cut to length on site. Longer lengths can easily be produced HOWEVER this could possibly create an on-site handling and cutting production challenge.
As you can see our granite tile production size capabilities are extremely flexible, please Contact Us with the material(s), sizes and finishes you require.

A rock at the frontier between igneous and metamorphic rocks. They can also be known as diatexite. In many cases the darker part of the rock, consisting of biotite mica and hornblende, has been intruded by veins of lighter rock consisting of quartz and feldspar. A rock composed of a metamorphic (altered) host material that is streaked or veined with granite rock; the name means "mixed rock". Such rocks are usually gneissic (banded) and felsic rather than mafic in composition.
This is a quarry yielding several, selectable, grades of granite with blocks suitable for gangsaw size down to economical tile-sized and monument blocks. It is not known when extraction commenced however could be the 1990s. For commercial projects it is important to ensure that blocks are selected from the same quarry face.
Rough blocks are usually exported by Break Bulk however intermodal containerisation is available at extra cost. Finished products are packed into sea-worthy wooden crates and loaded into containers.
