Synonyms: Gruener Alpenmarmor, Verde Alpi, Vert des Alpes

A sparsely white veined, green serpentinite breccia of the Cretaceous period (other authorities say Jurassic). This stone internationally may be nominated as a marble. For the US and Chinese market this is correct but in the area of application of the European Standard this stone must be nominated as serpentinite. Serpentinite is, as a rule, not resistant against frost, acid and salt. For facing an flooring, (especally thin and big-size tiles) use waterless adhesives.
