A red serpentinite breccia of the Jurassic period. White calcite veins and purple-red to dark green rock fragments. The red colour is caused by the changing of magnetite into hematite. This stone internationally may be nominated as a marble. For the US and Chinese market this is correct but in the area of application of the European Standard this stone must be nominated as serpentinite. Serpentinite is, as a rule, not resistant against frost, acid and salt. For facing and flooring, (especially thin and big-size tiles) use waterless adhesives.
