Azul Bhia granite is a white-blue sodalite foidolite of the Precambrian period. This stone internationally may be nominated as a granite and for the US and Chinese market this is correct but in the area of application of the European Standard this stone must be nominated as syenite. Ideal for both interior and exterior use. Azul Bahia granite is frost free but the polish is only constant inside. The veining and colour varies considerably therefore a small sample is not representative of the whole slab.

Note: Azul Bahia is one of the most expensive natural stones, the raw blocks are often small.
Caution: Acids will change the blue colour of the sodalite into grey!
