Kerb stones over 300 cms (10 feet) of length ready
for shipment. The customer can then cut the kerbs to the specification
required thus avoiding carrying excessive stocks of ready made lengths
in varying measurements.
In this photograph we see monuments being loaded
into the container. On completion we photograph every "stuffed"
container in the event of any insurance claims. The container will
then be fumigated before leaving our factory.
A Gantry Crane: This gantry crane lifts rough
blocks onto the primary block saw trolleys and removes the sawn
slabs when finished. It is also capable of lifting full container
loads (FCL) onto the shipping lorries. Depending on the country
of destination the normal loading weight inside a container is between
18 and 26 metric tonnes.
