Absolute Black Granite

Synonyms: Dense Black, Granito Nero Assoluto Indiano, Indischer Super Black Granit, Indian Black, Jet Black

Absolute Black granite is a fine to medium-grained black basalt (dolerite) with equi-granular crystalline texture from Warrangal, Andhra Pradesh, India.

Our company was one of the first to export high quality Absolute Black granite products, principally memorials, in the early 1970's. Further information about Absolute Black Granite can be found here. It is important to note that supplies of this granite are not unlimited and especially so for large, gang-saw sized slabs.

This Absolute Black granite has been selected as the principal granite for many kitchen work top suppliers in the United Kingdom. Unlike some "black" granites, this does not require any colour enhancers.
